Windows Terminal Preview 1.4: Jump List, Blink and Hyperlink Support
We're back with another update Windows Terminal Preview, which will appear in October in Windows Terminal. Both builds of Windows Terminal can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store or the releases page at GitHub.
Check it out below for the latest updates!
Jump List
You can now launch Windows Terminal Preview with a specific profile from the start menu or taskbar!
Note: to display icons in the jump list, you need to specify the path to them in settings.json.
Hyperlink support
We have added hyperlink support for embedded hyperlinks. These links will be displayed with an underline, and to open them, it will be enough to click on them while holding Ctrl. We also plan to soon add support for automatic detection of all links in the text.
Blink Support
Support has been added to Windows Terminal SGR 5 (Thank you, @j4james!), so now you can have fun flashing text inside the Terminal.
All of our documentation can be found at docs.microsoft.com. If you have any questions or would like to share your opinion feel free to email Kayla (Kayla, @cinnamon_msft) on Twitter. Also, if you want to make a suggestion to improve the Terminal or report a bug in it, then please contact the Windows Terminal repository for this. GitHub.
