Zabbix Summit is an event where you can learn about outstanding Zabbix use cases and see technical solutions presented by global IT experts. For nine years in a row, we have organized events gathering hundreds of visitors from dozens of countries. This year we are adopting new rules and moving to an online format.
Program
The Zabbix Summit Online 2020 program will be mainly dedicated to the release of Zabbix 5.2 (it is expected to be announced before the event). The Zabbix engineering team will cover many technical topics, as well as talk about the features of the new release. Traditionally, Zabbix experts from all over the world will make presentations and share the most interesting and complex Zabbix use cases.
In addition to technical information, you will be able to learn about Zabbix professional services, meet team members and chat with users from different business areas and countries.
How everything will happen
Unlike the usual two-day event, this year's summit will take place over one day and in such a way that guests from all over the world can attend.
We will start with reports from the Zabbix team and community members from Japan when it is early morning in the European part of the globe. Zabbix's Chinese representative will be next to join and demonstrate interesting use cases implemented by Zabbix experts in the region. The third block of the summit will be the longest. It will combine the speeches of representatives of Europe and Russia. During this part of the summit, Zabbix CEO Alexey Vladyshev and Zabbix technical engineers will also speak. After the European segment, the summit will continue with speakers from Brazil. And the final section will be devoted to the United States. Visitors will have the opportunity to see interesting examples of using Zabbix by local companies and personally discuss pressing issues with local experts.
All regional parts of the Summit will be separated by online coffee breaks, during which you will be able to watch live interviews with speakers, as well as chat with other participants in special chat rooms. Q&A sessions will be organized to answer questions.
What about traditional technical workshops, you may ask? We also thought about this. Workshops will be held during the week following the summit, both by members of our team and sponsors of the event. You will have the opportunity to choose and participate in all sessions that you find interesting.
