We have learned that Microsoft will soon end support for the October 10 build of Windows 2018 (version 1809). To keep the top ten up to date, the company releases large-scale updates for it twice a year. The October 2018 update can rightfully be considered the most unfortunate of them. And now, the days of his support are numbered.
It's hard to describe how bad Windows 10 version 1809 was. Errors when working with ZIP archives, problems with partitioning drives, errors when trying to delete files. Also, users have notably spoiled their nerves with numerous problems with Intel and AMD drivers and a great many various small bugs.
Microsoft has indicated on its support page that support for Windows 10 1809 will end on May 12, 2020. After that, the OS assembly will stop receiving security updates, which will actually bury it.
According to the Microsoft website, support will end for the following versions of Windows 10:
- Windows 10 Home version 1809
- Windows 10 Pro version 1809
- Windows 10 Pro for Education, version 1809
- Windows 10 Pro for Workstations, version 1809

For those who are still working on this version of the operating system, it's time to move to build 1909. It is also not famous for being bug-free, but still much more stable than Windows 10 1809.
