It was called Mosaic.
His life was short. Mosaic developed from 1993 to 1997. Then the Mosaic Communications Corporation was renamed Netscape Communications Corporation, in which the well-known Netscape Navigator was born, taking the main developments from Mosaic.
The last version for Linux came out in 1996.
