30 years of ReactOS

The ReactOS project celebrates its thirtieth anniversary!

Happy birthday, ReactOS! Today marks 30 years since the first commit to the ReactOS source code tree. It has been such a long road that many of our current contributors, including myself, weren't even born then. Nevertheless, our mission—to provide "your favorite Windows applications and drivers in a trustworthy open-source environment"—continues to bring people together.

We continue to move ReactOS forward. We are currently working on several external projects. Among these exciting initiatives are: a new build environment for developers (RosBE), a new NTFS driver, a new ATA driver, support for symmetric multiprocessing (SMP), support for class 3 UEFI systems, address space layout randomization (ASLR) for the kernel and user mode, and support for modern drivers based on the WDDM model.
