The authors from Ghost Town Games, in collaboration with Team17, have announced a seasonal pass for Overcooked! 2. It includes three expansions — details about the first one have been shared along with a brief teaser. It seems the game will receive a lot of new content.
The first DLC is called Campfire Cook Off and will transport all cooking masters to a camp. Players will be tasked with creating dishes outdoors across twelve new levels. The authors promise fresh recipes, two additional characters, and some unique mechanics. The developers have yet to reveal gameplay changes.
Campfire Cook Off will be released on April 18 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. On the latter console, the total price of the seasonal pass will be $14.99, while on the other platforms, it will cost $18.99.
Overcooked! 2 is an arcade cooking simulator that emphasizes the speed of task completion and cooperative interaction. On Steam, the game has 80% positive reviews (a total of 4209 user reviews).
