Microsoft has released another update for its Edge browser in the Apple App Store. The new version 44.13.1 introduces two fresh features aimed at enhancing the product's appeal to iOS users.
Firstly, iPhone and iPad users who prefer Microsoft's browser over Apple Safari can now enable the tracking prevention feature, with options for basic, balanced, or maximum blocking available. Access to this feature can be found in the settings menu.
Secondly, a new option for syncing favorites, passwords, and other data with the new desktop version of Microsoft Edge (based on the Chromium engine) has now been introduced. There is also the option to sync with the legacy Edge, which used its own engine.
As always, the latest update for iOS also brings some general bug fixes and performance improvements. You can download the update or install the browser .
