On October 6, a small update was released for Cage, the kiosk application for Wayland, whose sole purpose is to run a single application in full screen.
Changes and Innovations:
- Now version 0.18 of the wlroots library is required for the build;
- all improvements from wlroots 0.17 and 0.18 are included;
- support for primary selection has been added;
- support for the relative-pointer-unstable-v1 protocol has been added;
- now Xwayland is not mandatory at runtime.
