Released version Calibre 9.11 a free e-book manager that combines a library, viewer, format converter, and news source download system. The release date is July 2, 2026, and the main change is the ability to export annotations as a separate HTML page, which can be opened in any browser.
Change log:
Exporting Annotations to HTML — highlights and notes can now be saved as a standalone web page. This file supports both light and dark themes, text searching, and filtering by highlight style, making it convenient for summaries, reviews, and working with quotes.
Interface Fixes in the Viewer — a bug was fixed that caused the text area to not always resize correctly when the window was adjusted, if the scrollbar was enabled.
Fixes for Calibre 9.10 regressions — Python templates in the book information panel are operational again, and when adding new books, default values for custom columns are now applied correctly.
The built-in news download mechanisms for Scientific American and Phoronixhave also been updated. Calibre builds are available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and in a portable version.
