A fork of zsnes, the Super Nintendo emulator, is now available. The author of the fork has started addressing build issues and updating the codebase. The original zsnes project hasn't been updated in 14 years, and attempting to use it leads to compilation problems in modern Linux distributions, as well as incompatibilities with new compilers. The updated package is hosted in the Arch Linux repository. Future plans mention porting to the SDL2 library. The code is distributed under the GPLv2 license.
