The holding "Roselectronica," part of the state corporation Rostech, has introduced an advanced unmanned aerial vehicle named "Corsair."
The drone is intended for all-weather aerial reconnaissance of terrain, conducting patrol and observation flights, as well as performing aerial photography.
The design of the drone incorporates innovative engineering solutions that provide advantages in terms of maneuverability, altitude, and flight range.
Specifically, the "Corsair" can fly at altitudes exceeding 5000 meters. This makes it unreachable for small arms and many types of portable air defense missile systems.
Another advantage of the drone is its long operational time. The "Corsair" can stay in the air for up to eight hours.
The wingspan of the drone is 6.5 meters, and the fuselage length is 4.2 meters. The drone weighs approximately 200 kilograms.
The "Corsair" can be used for both military and civilian purposes. In particular, the aircraft can monitor the environment, oversee road conditions, observe infrastructure objects, and search for individuals in emergencies, among other tasks.
