The next step will be an update to the latest version , which will be significantly easier than the transition from branch 0.24.
Other changes:
- The color palette has been changed, ensuring a more contrasting separation between text and background.
- Dialog design has been optimized for nearly all default applications. The appearance of some controls has been modified to highlight button relief by shifting the shadow downward.
- The virtual keyboard has been improved. A swipe gesture from the bottom now allows switching the keyboard into editing mode. Double tapping in an empty area in editing mode toggles selection and cursor visibility modes. The Done button now allows exiting any mode. Issues with input after a colon being uppercase have been resolved.
- In the Morph browser, private browsing mode now only deletes the current session's data when exiting, not all existing sessions. An option for managing cookie deletion has been added to the settings.
In container-based applications
The webapp now includes file upload capability. The handling of dropdown interface elements has been improved, which are now implemented as styled windows with touch buttons. Support for automatic page width adjustment to screen size has been added. The next release is expected to update the QtWebEngine engine to version 5.14. - On devices with multicolored LEDs, battery charge level indication has been added. When the charge is low, the indicator starts blinking orange, during charging it glows white, and when fully charged it becomes green.
- On FairPhone 2 devices, automatic switching of the SIM card to 4G mode is enabled without the need to manually switch another slot to 2G mode.
- For Nexus 5, OnePlus One, and FairPhone 2, a driver necessary for running Anbox (an environment for executing Android applications) has been added to the standard kernel.
- Custom OAUTH keys for Google services have been utilized, allowing synchronization with the Google calendar and address book. Meanwhile, Google potentially vulnerable browsers on old engines, which may require changing the User Agent when connecting to Google services.
