Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) has announced a new small form-factor computer — the Liva Z2A device built on the Intel platform.
The nettop fits in the palm of your hand: its dimensions are just 132 × 118 × 56.4 mm. The new model features a fanless design, ensuring it operates silently.
It is powered by the Intel Celeron N3350 processor from the Apollo Lake generation. This chip has two computing cores and an Intel HD Graphics 500 GPU. The base clock speed is 1.1 GHz, with a boost up to 2.4 GHz.
There are two SO-DIMM slots for DDR3L RAM modules, allowing a total of up to 8 GB. It includes an eMMC flash module with capacities of 32 or 64 GB. Additionally, a 2.5-inch drive — either SSD or HDD — can be installed.
For wireless connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2 controllers. There is also a gigabit Ethernet adapter for wired network connections.
The interface set includes USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A ports (×3), a USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C port, USB 2.0 ports (×2), HDMI, D-Sub, and a standard audio jack. Compatibility with Windows 10 is guaranteed.
