On July 1, 2024, the latest version of the open-source real-time operating system Embox was released.
Among the changes:
- Improved support for MIPS & ARM architectures.
- Enhanced board_config (device tree) technology.
- Several STM32 boards have been added.
- Improved support for the Russian microcontroller K1921VG015.
- Enhanced SPI subsystem for STM32.
- Enhanced flash device subsystem.
- A number of libraries have been added, including: libgmp, thrift, openssl, ffmpeg.
- Performance improvements have been made to several libraries, including boost, openCV.
- The ability to use video in OpenCV has been added.
- Improved time subsystem.
