On January 9, the release of version 2.34.0 of cross-platform console utilities took place. fastfetch and flashfetch, written in C and distributed under the MIT license.
The utilities are designed to display system information similar to neofetch. Supported platforms include Linux, Android, FreeBSD, macOS, SunOS, and Windows 7+. Unlike fastfetch, flashfetch does not support extended information output capabilities, profiles, and more.

- Now, a beautiful distribution name is displayed if available. This has been a requested feature for a long time, but it may not work correctly on some distributions. Please report a bug with the content of /etc/os-release if the name shows incorrectly on your distribution.
- Support for font recognition for the Ghostty terminal emulator has been added.
- Support for the kitty-icat image protocol has been added, which uses the kitten icat protocol to generate images.
- Support for WM version detection has been added. Currently, Hyprland and Sway are supported in Linux.
- Performance has been improved when redirecting stdout.

- Logos for Lubuntu, SnigdhaOS, and Rhino Linux have been added; the Xray_os logo has been updated.
- A number of bugs have been fixed.
