A corrective update for the previous stable branch of Debian 9, which includes accumulated package updates and fixes to the installer. The release includes 75 updates addressing stability issues and 73 updates resolving vulnerabilities. This is the final release of the Debian 9 branch, and further package updates will be handed over to the team. Standard support for Debian 9 ended on July 18, 2020. Under the LTS branch, release updates for Debian 9 will continue until June 30, 2022.
Notable changes in Debian 9.13 include the removal of 22 packages, such as enigmail, pdns-recursor, yahoo2mbox, weboob, torbirdy, simpleid, profphd, mathematica-fonts, libmicrodns, kerneloops, gplaycli, getlive, dynalogin, colorediffs-extension, and certificatepatrol.
Support for firefox-esr has also been discontinued for armel, mips, mipsel, and mips64el architectures.
For downloading and installing "from scratch," preparations will be made within a few hours , as well as With Debian 9.13, systems installed previously and kept up to date receive updates present in Debian 10.3 through the standard update installation system. Security issue fixes included in new Debian releases are available to users as updates are released via the security.debian.org service.
