Starting with version 121, the Mozilla Firefox web browser will utilize native support for the new window system when launched in a Wayland session.
Previously, the browser relied on the XWayland compatibility layer, and native Wayland support was considered experimental and hidden behind the MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND flag.
