On January 4th, after more than five months of development, version 2.6.0 of the console utility was released GCLI, written in C and distributed under the BSD-2 license. The utility is designed to interact with the APIs of several popular Git project hosting services, allowing users to create, view, and interact with issues, pull requests, labels, and comments; check the status of CI and pipelines, and much more.
And unlike GitHub CLI, GCLI supports not only the GitHub API but also the GitLab and Gitea APIs, and, experimentally, Bugzilla.
Change log:
- A checkout action has been added to the pulls subcommand, performing git checkout for the specified pull request (only for GitHub and GitLab).
- A -R parameter has been added to the pulls create subcommand, allowing reviewers to be specified directly when creating a pull request. Additionally, gcli now prompts for reviewers when creating a pull request in interactive mode.
- Support for pull requests has been added to the interactive status subcommand.
- Other improvements and several bug fixes.
