GitHub — the largest web service for hosting IT projects and their collaborative development.
The web service is based on the version control system Git and developed in Ruby on Rails and Erlang by GitHub, Inc (formerly Logical Awesome). The service is free for open source projects and (since 2019) small private projects, providing them with all features (including SSL), while various paid plans are available for large enterprise projects.

The application offers the following features:
- Track project status
- View code
- Manage issue reports and respond to them
- Review pull requests
- Merge changes
The applications are available for Android and iOS.
