On June 23, version 9.1 "with a hungry horse at our leg" of the console editor was released. GNU nano.
Changes:
- The viewing area during search will align to the left whenever possible.
- The ability to read and write files in the old Mac format has been removed.
(i.e., files that use a single carriage return character as the newline character). - The ^T switch between the WhereIs and GotoLine commands has been removed.
- Issues with file backup (when the --backup option is enabled) have been fixed.
- A bug that assigned file permissions and ownership to .save when the nano process was "killed" or "crashed" has been corrected.
- It is now possible to reassign the keyboard shortcuts M-Ins and M-Del.
