Google developers have announced on Twitter that there are currently issues with the search engine's indexing of new content. As a result, users are unable to find recently published materials in certain cases.
The problem was identified yesterday, and it is most visibly demonstrated when users select the option to view posts from the past hour in the search filter. Reports indicate that when attempting to search for content published in the last hour by the New York Times and Wall Street Journal, the system shows no results. However, when searching without additional filter parameters, the search engine displays older content published previously.

As a result of the ongoing issue, search engines using Google are not receiving the latest news in a timely manner. Not all new content is being indexed by the search engine, but this isn't the only similar issue Google has faced recently. At the beginning of last month, online sources reported problems with page indexing. Additionally, there was a recent issue with the indexing of materials displayed in Google News feeds, which arose due to difficulties faced by search bots in selecting the correct canonical URL.
Regarding the current issue, the Google Webmasters development team has acknowledged its existence and stated that more detailed information about the incident will be published as it becomes available.
