Telegram Desktop developer , that the im-desktop client from Mail.ru, (apparently, this is a desktop client ) copied the old custom animation engine from Telegram Desktop entirely unchanged (according to the author, of not the best quality). Moreover, not only was Telegram Desktop never mentioned initially, but the license of the code was also changed, thus altering it from GPLv3 to Apache, which is unacceptable according to the requirements of GPLv3.
