An unknown group of hackers has managed to breach the latest version of Denuvo anti-piracy protection in Total War: Three Kingdoms. As reported by DSO Gaming, the hackers took a week to overcome it.

Whether SEGA will remove the protection from Total War: Three Kingdoms remains unknown. Previously, several publishers discontinued its use in , and other projects.
