On November 9 and December 17, 2024, versions 0.45 and 0.46 of the stekovo-tiling compositor were released. Hyprland, written in C++ and distributed under the BSD-3 license.

- NVIDIA hardware cursors: cursor:dumb_copy has been replaced with cursor:use_cpu_buffer. This should allow the use of NVIDIA hardware cursors without drawbacks. Note, this is experimental.
- Window and layer rules: now the rules for regular expressions require full compliance to take effect.
- Color processing has been moved from sRGB to OkLab. This means that gradients and color transitions will look more natural.
- Drap-n-Drop has returned for XWayland.
- New update screen.
- The processing of window and layer rules has been improved and optimized; the processing of regular expressions is now carried out using Google's RE2.
- cursor:warp_on_change_workspace now accepts force to bypass cursor:no_warps.
