The South Korean telecommunications company SK Telecom (SKT), along with Iceotope and lubricant developer SK Enmove, is reportedly working on developing next-generation liquid cooling systems (LCS) for data centers focused on resource-intensive AI tasks, according to Datacenter Dynamics. It is stated that the parties have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at implementing Precision Liquid Cooling (PLC) technology. The project plans to use special fluids from SK Enmove and a test bench from SKT. The PLC system is claimed to provide high efficiency in heat dissipation from server components and energy savings compared to alternative solutions.
