The American company Cloudflare reported a hacker intrusion into its IT infrastructure. Security specialists from CrowdStrike were brought in to investigate the incident; it is claimed that government hackers from a certain state may be involved in the cyberattack. As a result of the investigation, the company decided to upgrade its data center in Brazil. It is said that to penetrate Cloudflare's internal network, the attackers used access tokens and credentials from three service accounts which were stolen during the hacking of Okta in October 2023. From November 14 to 17 last year, cybercriminals conducted reconnaissance of Cloudflare's systems and then gained access to internal knowledge bases and the tracker (Atlassian Confluence and Jira).
