Canonical has announced the preparation of separate builds of Ubuntu Desktop (20.04 and 22.04), Ubuntu Server (20.04 and 22.04), and Ubuntu Core (20 and 22), delivered with the Linux kernel 5.15 and specifically optimized for working on SoCs and Internet of Things (IoT) devices with Intel Core and Atom processors from the 10th, 11th, and 12th generations (Alder Lake, Tiger Lake, and Elkhart Lake). The builds have been prepared and tested in collaboration with engineers from Intel.
