Publisher Kalypso Media and developers from the German Gaming Minds Studios informed have announced the release of the first gameplay trailer for their political city-building strategy, Tropico 7.
Players will once again take on the role of the familiar El Presidente from previous installments, leading the island nation of Tropico to prosperity by any means necessary.
The debut gameplay trailer for Tropico 7 ( VK the video is available in Russian) lasts just over 45 seconds and gives viewers a glimpse into what it’s like to manage a paradise island.
“El Presidente doesn’t just manage; he stylishly orchestrates chaos. Every street and every building serves a specific purpose, and every citizen is part of the grand vision of a brilliant leader,” the press release states.
The game promises the largest islands in the series history, five new campaign maps (and 20 for sandbox mode), 10 scenarios, a broad range of political and creative possibilities, and a new terraforming system.
Tropico 7 is set to be released in 2026 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and will also be available in the Game Pass subscription (Ultimate, PC). Russian text localization is planned.
