On April 29, the releases of cross-platform libraries 5.4.9 and 5.6.2 for parsing, editing, and highlighting code took place. Lexilla and Scintilla respectively, as well as the release of the text editor based on them, version 5.6.2. SciTE.
The projects are written in C++ (C++20 standard).
Changes:
- Lexilla
- Assembler: SCE_ASM_STRINGBACKQUOTE for supporting text in backticks used in NASM.
- C++: added support for code folding between #pragma region and #pragma endregion.
- F#: support for ! for async keywords has been added.
- F#: stabilization of styling for long strings.
- F#: folding of long strings with fold.fsharp.quotes.
- LaTeX: corrected an error with < in the end of the file.
- Pascal: SCE_PAS_MULTILINESTRING for multi-line strings in triple quotes.
- Ruby: fixed an error with ? at the end of the file.
- Scintilla
- An error status SC_STATUS_OUTSIDE_DOCUMENT has been added, which is set when attempting to perform an operation with a position that is outside the document. Position checking is conducted at an earlier stage to prevent partial execution of actions. Incomplete actions may lead to inconsistencies in elements, such as the change history referencing deleted text.
- A couple of fixes for Windows.
- SciTE
- Fixed the occurrence of a false error message when filtering text in an unnamed buffer.
