A couple of days ago, the code for the libmui library was published, which allows the creation of user interfaces reminiscent of the MacOS Classic operating system. The library's API is also inspired by this OS.
The library is written in C and features a minimal set of dependencies. It only supports operation in X11 environments, and the author does not plan to support Wayland.
The code is published under the MIT license.
