Urban Bruchin has released a new version In numbers — a free CAD software for designing electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
In this version:
- added import of KiCad libraries (with limitations);
- implemented overlay of the product's passport over the mounting locations;
- product passports can now be added as URLs to components for quick opening and viewing;
- added export to Specctra DSN and import from SES;
- various changes have been made to enhance program usability.
The developer is trying to make LibrePCB a self-sustaining project. To this end, he has integrated a quick order of designed boards through partners — AISLER, PCBWay, and NextPCB — with an intermediate upload of the project file to fab.librepcb.org.
