A year after its closure, Linux Journal is resuming operations under the leadership of Slashdot Media (which owns and operates the tech news site Slashdot and the open-source developer portal SourceForge).
The editorial team currently has no plans to resume a subscription model for the publication; all new content will be published for free on LinuxJournal.com.
The editorial team also invites all former members of Linux Journal or Linux enthusiasts who wish to participate again or for the first time to get in touch with them regarding this project.
