Very soon, as part of the Tech Creativity Festival "TechnoKakTUS", the Youth Competitions on Linux — Linux-skills will kick off.
The competitions will take place in two categories: Alt-skills (ALT Linux) and Calculate-skills (Calculate Linux), across three age groups: 10-13 years, 14-17 years, and 18-22 years.
Registration is already open and will be available until March 5, 2024, inclusive. The competitions will be held from March 6 to April 1 in two stages: the qualifying round — testing and the final round — practical assignment.
The final will take place in venues in St. Petersburg, Moscow, the Moscow region, and Rostov-on-Don (venues in other cities are under negotiation).
As part of the competitions, participants will need to transition from MS Windows to Linux while preserving all documents, as well as configure a local network.
Educational institutions can apply to become support venues and host the in-person stage on their premises. To do this, you need to contact the organizers.
