Release occurred litehtml, a lightweight HTML/CSS rendering engine. The main goal of the litehtml library is to provide developers with an easy way to display HTML pages in their applications. For instance, it can be used in dictionary applications instead of a WebEngine. Qt Assistant uses this library to display help documentation.
The library does not handle rendering of text or images, so it is not tied to any particular toolkit.
In addition to numerous improvements, the release is notable for its basic implementation of CSS Flexbox.
litehtml is distributed under the New BSD License and uses gumbo-parser with the license Apache v.2.
