The ninth anniversary release of the effect package has been released LSP Plugins version 1.2.20!
The plugins are designed for audio processing during mixing and mastering of recordings, in live performance settings, as well as for broadcasting and podcasting. The package is compatible with LADSPA, LV2, VST2 (LinuxVST), VST3, CLAP, and GStreamer formats, and also provides standalone versions supporting JACK.
This time we are providing you with a 'Swiss Army knife' for audio analysis, mixing, and mastering.
In this version:
- A new series of plugins — Referencer has been implemented.
- An option has been added to enable automatic file loading in the plugins when navigating through the list of files next to the loaded sample.
- Send and return paths via shared memory have been added to the Mixer plugin series.
- Return paths via shared memory have been added to the A/B Tester plugin series.
- Peak tracking has been added to the Spectrum Analyzer plugin series.
- A number of fixes in the UI widgets.
- A 'Stop' button has been added to halt sample preview playback in plugins such as:
- Impulse Responses;
- Impulse Reverb;
- Room Builder;
- Sampler and Multisampler;
- Trigger.
- Better handling of the Enter and Escape keys in dialog boxes.
- Even more functions on SIMD and support for optimizations using the AVX-512 instruction set in the DSP library.
- AVX-512 optimizations are now enabled for all AMD processors of the 7000 series and above.
- The DSP library now compiles under MacOS on Apple M1 processors and newer.
- Fixed an issue with potential file loss when activating/deactivating a plugin and restarting a session.
- Errors with inaccurate spectral graphs and synchronization of the left and right channels during abrupt changes in filter frequency have been corrected in the Parametric Equalizer plugin series.
- The behavior of the 'Inspect' button in the VST3 version of the Parametric Equalizer plugin has been fixed. This fix may lead to a regression with the activation of monitoring on the first filter when loading a session.
- Regressions related to AArch64 that caused host freezes have been fixed.
