The third correction update of the Debian 13 distribution has been released, including the accumulated package updates and installer fixes. The release features 108 updates addressing stability issues and 37 updates resolving vulnerabilities. Notable changes in Debian 13.3 include updates to fresh stable versions of packages such as ansible, apache2, containerd, dpdk, flatpak, gnome-shell, mbedtls, mutter, postgresql-17, and qemu.
Installation builds for a fresh start with Debian 13.3 will be prepared for download and installation in the next few hours. Previously installed systems that are kept up to date receive the updates present in Debian 13.3 through the standard update installation system. Security issue fixes included in the new Debian releases are made available to users as updates are released via the security.debian.org service.
At the same time, a new release of the previous stable Debian branch 12.13 is available, including 96 updates addressing stability issues and 85 updates resolving vulnerabilities. Updated to fresh stable versions are packages such as apache2, clamav, dpdk, intel-microcode, nvidia-graphics-drivers, openssl, postgresql-15, qemu, and ublock-origin. For the armel, mipsel, and mips64el architectures, the packages clamav, clamsmtp, libc-icap-mod-virus-scan, libclamunrar, and pg-snakeoil have been removed due to the unavailability of the rustc-web package required for building new versions of ClamAV packages. The pagure package, having unresolved issues and vulnerabilities, has also been removed.
