Google has released a patch update for Chrome 77.0.3865.90. It addressed four security vulnerabilities.
One of the vulnerabilities was rated critical, allowing an attacker to bypass all browser security measures and execute code on the system outside the sandbox environment. Details about the critical vulnerability (CVE-2019-13685) are not yet disclosed until users install the update.
Other vulnerabilities have been classified as dangerous. The issues were caused by accessing a freed memory block in the handling code of offline pages (CVE-2019-13686) and multimedia data (CVE-2019-13687, CVE-2019-13688).
