The sixth corrective update of the Debian 11 distribution has been released, which includes accumulated package updates and fixes for issues in the installer. This release includes 69 updates addressing stability problems and 78 updates fixing vulnerabilities. Notable changes in Debian 11.6 include updates to the latest stable versions of packages such as mariadb-10.5, nvidia-graphics-drivers, postfix, and postgresql-13.
Installation builds will soon be prepared for fresh installations from scratch, as well as a live iso-hybrid of Debian 11.6. Previously installed systems that are kept up to date will receive the updates present in Debian 11.6 through the standard update installation system. Security fixes included in new Debian releases become available to users as updates are released through the security.debian.org service.
