A corrective release of Firefox 136.0.1 is now available, which fixes the issue of incorrect cookie size limits (the maximum size was set to 1024 bytes instead of 4096), causing crashes on sites using the CookieStore API to manage cookies. The error that prevented the Ctrl+L keyboard shortcut from focusing on the address bar in new windows has also been resolved.
Mozilla has warned of the expiration on March 14 of the root certificate used for signing add-ons digitally. Users should update their browsers to versions Firefox 136, 128 ESR or 115.13+ ESR for information about the new certificate. Users of older versions of Firefox will be unable to use already installed add-ons after March 14 (the add-ons will be deactivated).
