An update has been prepared for the specialized build of the DogLinux distribution (Debian LiveCD in the style of Puppy Linux), based on the Debian 11 "Bullseye" package base and designed for testing and servicing PCs and laptops. It includes applications such as GPUTest, Unigine Heaven, ddrescue, WHDD, and DMDE. The distribution allows you to check hardware functionality, stress the CPU and GPU, and verify SMART HDD and NVME SSD. The size of the Live image, which can be loaded from USB drives, is 1.1 GB (torrent).
In the new version:
- The base system packages have been updated to the Debian 11 release.
- Google Chrome has been updated to version 92.0.4515.107.
- The current frequency of all CPU cores has been added to sensors.desktop.
- The monitoring utility radeontop has been added.
- The missing modules for 2D video drivers X.org xserver-xorg-video-amdgpu, radeon, nouveau, openchrome, fbdev, vesa have been added.
- Errors in determining the required version of proprietary video drivers in initrd have been fixed (the code now works correctly when two or more NVIDIA graphics cards are present in the system).
