Oracle has released a corrective update for the virtualization system VirtualBox 7.0.18, which includes 3 fixes:
- An error in the networking components has been fixed, which led to a recommendation not to install VirtualBox version 7.0.16. This error caused system crashes in the host environment when using virtual machines with bridged network settings or utilizing a VM network adapter that operates in host-only mode.
- Fixes have been made in the additions for guest systems with Linux that eliminate UBSAN (Undefined Behavior Sanitizer) warnings.
- The additions for guest systems with Linux have resolved issues that caused incorrect time to be displayed in mounted shared folders.
