Oracle has released a patch for the VirtualBox virtualization system 7.0.20, noting 8 fixes:
- The additions for Linux-based hosts and guest systems now include initial support for Linux kernel packages provided in RHEL 9.5 and openSUSE 15.6 distributions.
- In guest system additions, a problem with unnecessary lines being attached during text copying via the clipboard between Windows and graphical environments based on the X11 protocol has been resolved.
- For new of virtual machines new Microsoft certificates have been added, used for booting in UEFI Secure Boot mode.
- An issue with the event viewer display for guest OS based on Windows has been resolved.
- In macOS-based host environments, a problem with USB device passthrough to the virtual machine has been resolved.
- Issues with sound recording when using HDA emulation after rebooting new guest systems with Windows 10 and 11 have been addressed.
- A deadlock issue in the USB OHCI implementation that occurred when saving the current state of the virtual machine or creating a snapshot has been resolved.
