The company Astra Linux Group has released another update for the Astra Linux Common Edition 2.12.40.
Updates include:
User interface improvements:
two new color schemes have been added: light and dark (fly-data);
the design of the 'Shutdown' dialog has been revamped (fly-shutdown-dialog);
enhancements in the new login theme: support for domains and tokens has been added (fly-qdm);
improved performance with multi-monitor configurations (fly-wm);
support has been added for applications using KDE plugins (the 'send' actions from KDE), and the performance with SMB resources has been accelerated (fly-fm);
the placement of application buttons is optimized when there is not enough space on the taskbar (with the ability to scroll the rows) (fly-wm);
it is now possible to call the external storage formatting dialog from the pop-up window (fly-reflex);
the date and time widget has been updated with integration into the fly-admin-time application (fly-admin-date);
An environment variable FLY_SHARED_DESKTOP_DIR ( /usr/share/fly-wm/shareddesktop) has been added for centralized placement of shortcuts on the desktops of all users;
A graphical interface for new applications and previously available OS functions has been implemented:
fly-admin-format — an application for formatting USB drives, supporting both quick and full modes;
fly-admin-usbip — an application for mounting USB devices over the network based on the usbip service;
fly-admin-multiseat — an application with a graphical mode for setting up simultaneous work of multiple employees with shared profiles on a single PC;
fly-csp-cryptopro, previously fly-csp — a utility for creating and verifying electronic signatures from the provider CryptoPro;
fly-admin-time — an application for selecting servers NTP and configuring time synchronization services;
fly-admin-int-check — the ability to include specific directories in the list of those excluded from integrity checks has been added;
fly-admin-ltsp — in the application for deploying the LTSP terminal server, the ability to reconfigure dnsmasq has been added, and the function for automatically mounting USB drives and remote connection has been improved;
fly-admin-smc — for the graphical kiosk, the ability to disable power-saving mode and screen locking has been implemented;
fly-admin-printer — enhanced HPLIP driver search, allowing for more accurate identification of Hewlett Packard printer models and selection of the correct driver;
fly-admin-repo — implemented automatic detection of the name, architecture, and components of the created repository, added the ability to sign the apt repository;
fly-admin-winprops. Options added for the window 'do not show in tray' and 'force decorations' (relevant for GTK3 applications), as well as starting 'in full-screen mode'.
