The NTЦ IT Rossa company and the community of developers for the distribution have released a corrective update for ROSA Fresh R11.1. This release is based on the 2016.1 platform, which will be supported until the end of 2021. It includes all updates and fixes issued since the release of Fresh R11 under the adopted 'soft rolling' policy. Available for free download builds for i586 and x86_64 platforms, available with KDE 4, KDE Plasma 5, LXQt, and Xfce options (1.7 – 2.2 GB). Those who already have the ROSA Fresh R11 distribution installed will receive the update automatically.
Some Release:
- Kernel Linux updated to version 5.4.32 and system manager systemd 243 (previously shipped version 230). Also included are LLVM 8, GCC 5, Glibc 2.24, Qt 5.11.2, GTK 3.22, Mesa 18.3.6;
- Update of some applications, including LibreOffice 6.3.5;
- Significantly improved the wizard for connecting to Windows AD domains;
- Enhanced support for the GOST cryptographic algorithms. The LibreSSL library has been added to the repository;
- Support for compiling applications using C++17 has been ensured.
