LTSM has been published for terminal access to desktops

The Linux Terminal Service Manager (LTSM) project has prepared a set of programs for organizing desktop access based on terminal sessions (currently using the VNC protocol). The project developments are distributed under the GPLv3 license.

The components include: LTSM_connector (VNC and RDP handler), LTSM_service (receives commands from LTSM_connector, initiates login and user sessions based on Xvfb), LTSM_helper (graphical user interface for system login) and LTSM_sessions (graphical interface for session management). Unlike xrdp, the LTSM project relies on different principles of operation — focusing on maximizing the use of built-in components, a compact source code (under one megabyte), and utilizing the DBus bus.
