The release of ONLYOFFICE DocumentServer 9.0 is available, featuring a server for the ONLYOFFICE online editors and facilitating collaboration. Editors can be used for working with text documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. The Nextcloud Hub platform can also be used for collaboration on your own infrastructure, providing full integration with ONLYOFFICE. Ready-made builds are available for Linux, Windows, and macOS. The project code is written in JavaScript using web technologies and is distributed under the free AGPLv3 license.
ONLYOFFICE claims full compatibility with MS Office and OpenDocument formats. Supported formats include: DOC, DOCX, ODT, RTF, TXT, PDF, HTML, EPUB, XPS, DjVu, XLS, XLSX, ODS, CSV, PPT, PPTX, ODP. There is the possibility to extend the functionality of editors through plugins, for example, plugins are available for creating templates and adding videos from YouTube. An open product, ONLYOFFICE DesktopEditors, is being developed separately, built on the same code base as the online editors and merging client and server components into one package, designed for standalone use on the user's local system and capable of operating without external service calls.

- The PDF editor now includes support for collaborative form filling or creation, allowing multiple participants to work on a single form simultaneously. It also allows for reordering pages in Drag & Drop mode, by dragging page thumbnails in the navigation pane. Support for using the Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V keyboard shortcuts for copying and pasting pages via the clipboard has been implemented.
- A new button for quickly customizing content framing has been implemented in the document editor's toolbar.
