Published qxkb5, an interface for switching keyboard layouts that allows different behaviors for different windows. For instance, in messaging application windows, you can lock it to only the Russian layout. The program also supports both embedded graphical and text language labels. The code is written in C++ and distributed under the GPLv3 license.
Supported operating modes:
- Normal mode — the active window remembers the last layout;
- First mode — there is a strict order of language layouts defined for the active window;
- Fixed mode — only one language layout is allowed for the active window.
