An official port of the OCCT package has been released for the Linux platform, designed for testing system stability in standard mode and during overclocking. The toolkit is proprietary but available for free with certain limitations. A binary file size of 263 megabytes is available for download.
Available features:
- Comprehensive stress tests — allow you to evaluate the performance of CPU, GPU, and memory under high loads to ensure the stability and reliability of the system.
- Advanced monitoring tools — provide real-time information on temperature, voltage, power consumption, and other critical system indicators.
- Compatibility is claimed with major Linux distributions, including Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, RHEL, and Arch Linux.
- Comprehensive support for GPU testing is claimed for servers, however, it is not specified whether the program works in headless mode (without graphics).
Notes regarding the operation of OCCT:
- Do not save the application in the /tmp directory under the name OCCT — this will cause a crash when launching. The program creates a directory tree along this path.
- The program uses the lm-sensors subsystem, NVIDIA SMI, and public interfaces of the pseudo-filesystem /sys, so monitoring capabilities are extremely limited compared to Windows. In Windows, proprietary drivers with full access to hardware are used, which cannot be ported to Linux due to the non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
