The Aurora Embedder, responsible for integrating the Flutter framework with the Aurora OS, was previously developed as a closed product and distributed only in the form of ready-made Flutter builds for the Aurora OS. From now on, the code for the Aurora Embedder is available under the BSD license. Flutter is used in the Aurora OS for quick and cost-effective porting of existing mobile applications. The use of Flutter allows for a shared codebase to build mobile applications for Android, iOS, and Aurora.
