OutWiker 4.1 has been released, a note-taking program that stores notes as directories with text files, allowing an arbitrary number of files to be attached to each note. Notes can be created using HTML, wiki, and Markdown markup (with the appropriate plugin installed). With plugins, you can add the capability to include LaTeX formulas in wiki pages and insert code blocks with syntax highlighting for various programming languages. The program is written in Python (interface in wxPython), distributed under the GPLv3 license, and available in builds for Linux (snap and flatpak) and Windows.
Changes in version 4.1:

- Added support for opening a note in a new tab immediately after it is created.
